I love shells, they are little treasures that are free gifts from the sea. I have painted many over the years but still add them into my still life arrangements. They add a quietness and softness of color.

I recently painted a collection that included some shells. The photo in this post shows 3 of the smaller paintings, they are 6 x 6 each so when framed they become about 8 x 8 each. They can be grouped together to fill more space either vertical, horizontal, diagonal or scattered. There are two more paintings that go along with them that are a bit larger that I will post at a later date. Shells: acrylic on panels.
